Zak S: I Told You So

  1. Hmm. I'm not sure about this one. Don't be too quick to condemn someone based on your previous bad experiences. Just because he's been the mother of all asses doesn't mean what's been said is true.

I read most of his book We Did Porn and he came across as bright but a bit too cool for school. I like the look of Maze of the Blue Medusa but at £50 you can forget it. That's about all I know about him so I don't have any dog in this fight and it certainly looks like he said/she said to me. I believe Zak has a new GF who was a previous paramour of both his AND Mandy? Dumped for someone else who she was close to herself, relegated to obscurity, seriously ill, depressed. I can see why she might have a slightly biased take on their relationship. On the other hand maybe it's all gospel truth. Without 3rd party confirmation I'm going to leave it at that.

I did notice that the Saatchi Gallery (a top end modern art gallery in London) has a collection of his pictures. He definitely has the aura about him of someone who'd be at home in that world. That's the worst I can say about him.

    1. The thing about this is that he's shown many of the manipulation and abuse techniques Mandy is talking about, out in the online world.

He's also someone who's shown himself to be a narcissistic sociopath with no loyalty to people who stood by him.

That means that first, it makes it a lot more likely he would betray Mandy, if he'll betray the people who stood up for him. Second, even if these accusations are false, he LITERALLY called for someone to be banned out of existence mere months ago for this. He said this is how he thinks people accused of sexual misconduct should be treated. So between having backstabbed me and all my friends and everyone who fought for his rights before, and the fact that he has no virtue of fighting for anyone else's rights, even if Mandy was 100% making it up (and I know her a little and I'm pretty damn sure she's not), why should anyone in the OSR raise a finger to help this piece of shit?

He's not one of us. He's a frustrated fake-male-feminist SJW. A group, by the way, who are known to be excessively prone to sexual harassment of women.
He's also someone who doesn't believe in individual liberty and free speech. He thinks he's part of a special intellectual/artistic elite who are smarter than other people and should thus get to run our lives and follow no rules. Those are exactly the kind of people who abuse women because they have no morals or ethics.

He has burned so many bridges and surrounded himself by so much shit that he has lost any claim to deserving being defended.

  2. I find it both hilarious and sad that people are bending over backwards to apologize for "not seeing the signs" in regards to the abuse accusations, as if they were Zak's next-door neighbors and ignored all the times Mandy "fell down the stairs." How can anybody feel guilty for not being privy to an internet personality's home life? White knights gonna white knight, I guess. Signal that virtue loud and clear!

As for the accusations, I wasn't there so I don't know. But I certainly don't doubt them—and I'm NOT the sort who is inclined to "believe women." Because contrary to popular opinion, having a vagina does not make a person infallible. I believe evidence.

So the reason I don't doubt the accusations isn't because of some unearned trust based on the source's gender, but because I realized from the very first (and only) time I interacted with Zak that he is a complete and utter piece of shit. I wouldn't put anything past him. Anyone with any sense at all should have immediately arrived at the same conclusion, without needing accusations of abuse to cement their disdain for him. The signs of his being a massive asshole were abundantly clear. Instead of hand-wringing over things they couldn't possibly have known, people ought to be apologizing for not ostracizing him for his constant assholery.

Oh well, hopefully all the bad things he's constantly advocating to happen to anyone he dislikes, will now happen to him.

  3. I appreciate the fact that you did this video outdoors and didn't show your books. I have seen far to many people use the denouncing of Zack S to raise their profile, shilling their product, or direct traffic to their blog.

    1. Yes, Daniel Fox for example, who went as far as to claim he was about to collaborate with Zak (as if that speaks really well of him) just so he could make a big claim of denouncing him.

  4. He also went out of his way to try to insinuate that you were of the same ilk as Zachary. Maybe he's still mad he got caught sock puppeting at your forum.

    1. Yes, undoubtedly. But it's also part of his attempt to distract from the fact that he was in big business with Zak, having been an associate of his, a fellow fake-Progressive, and having worked with him. He was about to work for him again when the Zak thing happened.

It would be great if wherever he posted people called him out on making false accusations and causing harm to the credibility of Mandy and the other women's claims about Zak by trying to use it for personal vendettas against people who had nothing to do with Zak (unlike himself).
