It is in theory possible for people to have a relatively high level of gnosis while also still having a more-or-less high level of Ego. That's why I think making these two different stats makes some sense.RPGPundithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17267330191433119298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600947515654238699.post-47402661219004676282014-08-18T19:43:31.063-04:002014-08-18T19:43:31.063-04:00I really enjoyed reading this. It seems like they are opposite ends of the same Axis of Awareness. It's not saying "magick is real" (not saying it isn't, either), it's saying "this is how people in the real world try to do magick and what the real-world occults scene is like".RPGPundithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17267330191433119298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600947515654238699.post-55052160404672254352014-08-18T12:52:41.549-04:002014-08-18T12:52:41.549-04:00"Real magic" is an oxymoron. To borrow from your game mechanics above, I think my Ego stat is too high to see things myself so I am skeptical, but remain open to the idea that there is something more to this existence than what we see before us.<br />Stacktracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05778633676064958982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600947515654238699.post-17417237154158757312014-08-17T22:18:02.731-04:002014-08-17T22:18:02.731-04:00Yes, I do.
