So the The progressive middle-managers have always despised Jeremy Clarkson, despised Top Gear, and despised the 98.7% of their viewers, for not liking what the managers TELL them they should like.
What was really fascinating in all this was seeing just what percentage of the public support that Collectivist mentality. As it turns out, it's 3.2%.

ReplyDeleteHow it really went is: Guy (for various reasons, mostly stupid ones) spends a few seconds in a pushing match with producer and mate. Neither Guy nor Producer think anything of it. The BBC, even though Producer didn't make any kind of complaint, pressed no charges, chose to make no protests, goes ahead and starts a Kangaroo Court to get rid of Guy, who they always hated. Producer on record as opposing this move. Guy sacked anyways, because that was the BBC's goal all along.

ReplyDeleteThat article was so filled with Hyperbole it's hard to even take it seriously. The RPG Pundit actually thinks it's ok to punch someone for not having a meal ready for him? If I were the person who got punched I would have thrown him in jail for assault and sued Clarkson for every dime he has.
ReplyDeleteFrom how witnesses describe it, first of all, there doesn't seem to have been any punching involved. Lots of shouting and some pushing, no punching.
DeleteAnd the RPGPundit thinks it's none of the BBC's business, if the guy who got pushed felt it was no big deal, never even reported it, refused to make any kind of complaint or press any charges even once the BBC Inquisition had started (and no doubt the BBC was URGING this guy, and promising him the moon, if he would just file charges), and then goes on record expressing his opposition to the firing of the guy who supposedly assaulted him.
The producer chap had to go to a&e, but is deciding not to press charges.
