Dark Albion: Cults of Chaos Already Has Its First Review!

It's not even out yet, but because we sent them early, Dark Albion's upcoming sourcebook Cults of Chaos already has its very first review!

And, no surprise, the first review is a positive one.

It comes from the Swords & Stitchery blog, written by Eric/Needles who was one of the winners of our Dark Albion: Cults of Chaos cover contest.  So yeah, go check it out, for a break-down of just what you will be getting in the book, plus lots of awesome pictures!  You've already seen the front cover; here, from the review, is the back cover:

It's such a great review I have to admit that even I'm a little jealous of Eric for having the book, given that my own copies haven't arrived yet.  Ah well, that's what happens when you live in the depths of the third world.

  1. That review is certainly effusive. However, I am left wondering if the reviewer is still learning English as the review is also chock full of misspellings, missing punctuation, meaningless sentences, sentences that seem to end mid-thiught, poor grammar, and such incredible vagueness that although I can tell he likes the book very much, I'll be damned if he gives any real examples as to why.

  2. By the way, here is a tip for anyone who hasn't bought Dark Albion to date. You can get the hardcover at Lulu.com for less than the paperback costs at Amazon. I finally decided to buy the book. Checked Amazon. Paperback is about $22. Not bad but what's the price for hardcover? No hardcovers available at Amazon at all. Checked via google search, found Lulu. Located hardcover on sale about $7 discounted. Put hardcover in cart. Got busy doing other things. Came back and found e-mail from Lulu with 25% off coupon and suggestion that I complete my order. Did so and ended up paying about $20 for the hardcover after using the coupon. So just stick the book in your cart and stay logged in for a couple of hours and you should be offered an even better deal.
