Fortunately, I will be presenting an alternative that will be available for FREE, for everyone, in perpetuity to use on their OSR designs, complete with the subtitle of "We only care that you game".

Also, because Robertson is already trying to make false claims of ownership over that logo: that logo is not mine, and it's certainly NOT Stuart Robertson's. It was designed by a Mexican artist, and it is inspired by the original TSR Logo. It has no relation or derivation from Stuart's work.

He originally released the logo under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. That license by its own terms cannot be revoked as long as the terms are followed (it has to be attributed, and there has to be a link to the CC license). So this would seem to be a non-issue. He can threaten all he wants; it's in the wild now except for those very modest requirements.

That's good to know. Still, if he doesn't want people to use it anymore, then no one should use it anymore. We have a better logo to use.
DeleteExactly, I was looking into that issue recently as I was arguing with a dude who wanted to put additional conditions ater he released his art as CC-BY-SA. Sorry, once you release material with the particular licence its done, you cannot neither withdraw it nor put additional conditions.
