Alternate Material Plane Generator

One of the things I always found strange playing D&D over the years was that a lot of emphasis was placed, at a certain level of play, on having exciting adventures in the higher planes, the lower planes, the elemental planes, or even the astral planes, but hardly any on Alternate Material Planes.

I mean, it's not like you don't see this in fantasy? How many fantasy novels feature parallel universes, or a 'road of worlds' where adventurers go to all variety of weird places and realities?

The general absence of this in D&D planar mechanics always kind of baffled me.

So, I've written up a generator for creating alternate material planes!

RPGPundit Presents 95: Alternate Material Planes has a number of random tables and mechanics that let you quickly and easily generate whole alternate worlds for your OSR or D&D PCs. Whether its a tiny pocket plane for a one-shot, or a whole world the PCs will come back and forth from, the generator will give you terrain, native races, weird natural or magical rules, generators for civilizations and settlements, local governments, laws, and weird cultures.

You can pick up this 18 page sourcebook for $2.99 from the Precis Intermedia Webstore, or from DTRPG.

And while you're at it, be sure to pick up the rest of the great supplements in the RPGPundit Presents series:
