  1. Hi.Congratulations on the game. I just have a little question about CA. The base Armor Class (AC) is 12 (± DEX modify for unarmored characters) and not 10. Is there a reason for this difference with most other OSR games with an Ascending AC?

    1. The difference is that it gives some leeway for characters not to have to rely as much on armor. There's limited armor options, proficiency limitations for many classes, and no "magic armor" bonuses. So this gives the characters a bit more AC to balance the typical spread in D&D.

  2. Thank you. I better understand the intent

  3. Any chance I could pay you a lump sum to pick up all 100 issues for one price (and possibly a discount for doing so)?

    1. I'm afraid not, but the Medieval Authentic Old School Companion is a compilation of a bunch of the early medieval-authentic Pundit Presents books and costs less than buying each separately would. Later there will be more compilation volumes (the next one will be Gonzo-themed about the world of the Last Sun).

  4. Where i can find or create statblocks for non-player characters, creatures, and other opponents ?

    1. Well, Star Adventurer is pretty new, so apart from the very few example statblocks for characters and ships that are in the book itself, I don't think you could find these anywhere.
However, you would be very welcome to create some, anywhere you like, and when you do please share the location with me!

  5. I think the Saving Throws in the Starship Combat chapter do not match the rest of the rules:
things like "DC15 Saving Throw vs. reflexes to halve damage" should be "Saving Throw vs. area effects to halve damage", with maybe a modifier.

    Am I right?

    1. Oh damn, good catch! That was from another draft where I was considering these rules for a DCC-based Pundit Presents issue.
So it would be "Save vs. area effect for half damage".
